Three economies: stranger (fair exchange), friend (loose reciprocity), family (unconditional gift). Based on Lewis Hyde's gift economy and Graeber's debt theory. The transition from calculation to gift is the transition from contract to love. You cannot calculate your way into zone three; you arrive by stopping the calculation.
